Applicant:
Thank you for your
interest in teaching opportunities in the Diocese of Monterey. The geographical
expanse of the Diocese (the Diocese encompasses four counties) necessitates that
the application, selection and hiring process of school employees is conducted
by the School Principal.
The teacher
application form and materials, as well as a listing of Catholic schools within
the Diocese, is located on our web site
schools@dioceseofmonterey.org The school listings include parochial,
diocesan and private Catholic schools. Please review the school listings,
determine which schools you will consider for employment, and contact the
individual school directly about possible openings.
St. Francis Central
Coast Catholic High School, Palma High School, Salesian Elementary
and Junior High School, Moreland Notre Dame, and Santa Catalina provide their
own application materials. The enclosed application materials are to be used
when applying to the other schools:

“Basic Requirements for Catholic
School Teachers of the Diocese of
Monterey”
-
“Teacher Application Form” (for PS through
Grade 12). You may copy the application to apply to more than one school,
provided the application form submitted to each school bears your original
signature. The “Leadership Self-Analysis for Teacher Applicants” is included
in the application.

“Applicant Verification & Release Form.” Please
reproduce three (3) copies, and sign and date the top of the forms (only)
(Note: If you submit an application electronically, please type in your name
and the date.)
The completed “Teacher Application” with your “Leadership Self-Analysis for
Teacher Applicants,” three letters of reference, and three signed “Applicant
Verification & Release Forms” are to be submitted directly to the School
Principal(s).
