Holy Cross School has been in existence on this site, in one form or another for 160 years. Holy Cross is one of the many ministries of Holy Cross Parish serving the community of Santa Cruz and the surrounding area by providing a Catholic preschool through eighth grade program. Holy Cross is committed to providing a well-rounded academic program situated in the message of the Gospel in order to help our students meet the challenges of their world in an intelligent Christian manner.

Curriculum

Holy Cross School provides an educational program rooted in the basic skills. We encourage our students to develop according to their individual abilities and we provide experiences that foster the development of creative thinking, evaluative thinking, critical thinking and problem solving.

Accreditation

Holy Cross School is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA).

Other Information

Tuition Assistance: A Tuition Assistance Program is available. Please state on your application that you are interested in the Tuition Assistance Program. Forms for tuition assistance may be obtained from the school office and should be completed as soon as possible for a prompt response. The registration fee must be paid in full before filing for tuition assistance. Please note that the recipients of tuition assistance are required to pay a certain percentage of tuition. There is also a SCRIP program and service hour requirement on the part of the parents that aid in tuition assistance.
